The Globe, Shakespeare's Globe, 2018

William Shakespeare had a muse. He referred to her as 'the Dark Lady' in Sonnets 127-154. Described as having greyish skin and black hair, his muse was long since rumoured to have been feminist poet Emilia. Morgan Lloyd Malcolm boldly tells a semi-fictitious account of Emilia's life that has remained untold for centuries.
